The 1730 series has been developed as a general purpose hydrostatic liquid level sensor, designed to work in low powered, arduous applications, including surface water, ground water and tank contents. It is the latest generation of submersible products manufactured by Druck over the past 27 years and features high performance micro-machined silicon technology, packaged in a fully welded 316 stainless steel assembly.

At the heart of the 1830 Series is a high stability pressure measurement element manufactured from micro-machined silicon developed within Druck’s own class 100 processing facility. The silicon measurement element is fully isolated from the media by a titanium isolation diaphragm. The use of titanium enables the sensors to be used in the most hostile of fluids where materials such as stainless steel cannot be considered.

The Model LL-V Liquid Level Sensor is designed for vertical entry into a tank or stilling well for complete submersion in the fluid. The all-welded stainless steel housing and pressure sensing diaphragm provides corrosion resistance to most fluids. The pressure sensing diaphragm is mechanically protected by a welded-on screen. The electrical cable exits through a 1/2-14 NPT threaded fitting which allows the attachment of a variety of tubing or flexible conduit.
